Assess, Diagnose, Treat.
Our Services
At Custom Foot, our services are built around one core principle: treat the cause, not just the symptoms. Our experienced practitioners use a structured, biomechanical approach to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions affecting the lower limbs and posture. Alongside our clinical care, we offer an in-house shoe shop stocked with supportive, orthotic-friendly footwear. Our friendly, professional staff are here to guide you every step of the way — from expert treatment to finding the right shoes to keep you moving comfortably.

Biomechanical Assessments
If you’re experiencing ongoing foot, leg, or lower back pain, a biomechanical assessment is the first step toward lasting relief. Rather than just treating the symptoms, this detailed evaluation looks at how your body moves — helping us diagnose the root cause of your discomfort. From muscle imbalances to joint misalignment, we uncover what’s really going on, so we can create a personalised treatment plan that targets the issue at its source.
Custom Orthotics
Customised orthotics are specially made shoe inserts designed to support your feet exactly where you need them. Whether you’re dealing with flat feet, heel pain, or discomfort when walking or running, orthotics help correct alignment, reduce strain, and improve how your body moves. Unlike generic insoles, these are custom-made to your unique foot shape and lifestyle for long-term relief and better function.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses targeted sound waves to stimulate healing in stubborn injuries. It’s especially effective for chronic heel pain, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendon issues, and other soft tissue conditions. The treatment boosts circulation, breaks down scar tissue, and helps the body repair itself, often reducing pain and speeding up recovery without the need for medication or injections.
Injection Therapy
Prolotherapy is an advanced injection therapy used to treat chronic joint, ligament, and tendon pain by stimulating the body’s natural healing response. At Custom Foot, prolotherapy is used as part of a targeted treatment plan for conditions that haven’t responded to conventional care. A natural irritant solution is injected into the affected area to encourage tissue repair, strengthen weakened structures, and reduce pain over time. This technique is especially effective when combined with biomechanical correction, ensuring that the underlying cause of stress on the joint or tissue is also addressed.
Dry Needling
Soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, and ligaments can often develop taut bands—commonly referred to as trigger points, adhesions, or areas of scar tissue. These restrictions can limit joint mobility and muscle function, often leading to pain and discomfort. By inserting a fine acupuncture needle into and around these affected areas, a muscle twitch response may be triggered. This response signals the body to initiate a controlled inflammatory reaction, which helps break down scar tissue, restore normal tissue function, and promote healing.
Foot Mobilisations
The human foot contains 26 bones (plus 2 sesamoids), all of which play a crucial role in overall movement and alignment. These bones can sometimes become misaligned or partially dislocated — a condition known as subluxation — often seen in cases like cuboid syndrome, which is commonly linked to ankle sprains and excessive pronation. At Custom Foot, we apply a structured, hands-on approach to mobilising the joints of the foot, ankle, knee, and hip. This method helps restore proper alignment and function and is most effective when combined with orthotic therapy and tailored exercise programs.
Our Process
1. Assess
We conduct a detailed biomechanical assessment to understand how your body moves and where dysfunction begins.
2. Diagnose
Diagnosis isn’t just about identifying pain — it’s about understanding the mechanics behind it. We look at how your body moves to find the true source of the problem.
3. Treat
We develop a personalised treatment plan that addresses the root cause of your pain while also relieving your current symptoms.
